Space X SUCCESS at catching the Superheavy Booster!!. Starhip blows up due to fuel oxygen/fuel leak.(and other space news).
Superheavy is a super star... star ship is a shooting star. Starship goes BOOO000OOO00MMMmMmm! Over Turks and Caicos.
I can't help but look at this, think of shuttle Columbia and think we should never ever put humans on this thing. It is a great cargo carrier perhaps... but being a manned system it hasn't earned that. Superheavy is on track to be that before Starship. IMHO.

The reality why so many people criticize NASA is because it's a bloated mess which is fully political. It's driven by politics and driven by those policies as well. I don't want to get too far into this, as it is starting to get into politics, but DEI as it stands is racist.
You are thinking of preferential hiring. NASA like most US government organizations tries to hire from every state in the union and every major part of the population in part to make sure it has political support. That's not DEI though that's been how the US government worked since George Washington's time. He had free Black soldiers and American Indians in his army for a reason. The US Navy was integrated at sea from the start. That's how you get support in congress. That's how America works when it counts.
Diversity has been our strength when we let it. Remember as an American organization it has to contend with Americas very ugly history not Canada's.
DEI to the type of people you see on Twitter just means Black people having any job ever or women in games having a body that can contain internal organs. You know not impossible proportions. The "libs of tik tok" posting "This is what not using DEI" gets you JUST as the fist videos of starship blowing up were being posted was so priceless.
LOL
So yeah F that guy, F people who like that guy on a personal level. I'll give him credit for what he does that is right but that is about it.
You know what, this probably saves SLS though. IF Starship was more fully operational the idea of eliminating SLS would get a lot more play in Congress. Given Musk allies are there and see things the way he does they could just hand our space program over to him.
At this rate if Starship HLS, the version meant to carry people and land them on the moon is not given priority then I don't see how it can be built and tested to NASA's specs in three years.

Definitely somthing thats fixable, and Raptor V3 should eliminate the problem entirely as it doesn't need the extra shielding that V1 and V2 do.
Yeah right here. It will be interesting to see what caused the leak. Perhaps someone just ... goofed? For the sake of the lunar program I hope it is something that simple and easy VS being a systematic issue with the design.
Too hot LOL !
