Laptop for 1000€

I'm seeking your insights on selecting a laptop within a budget of 1000€.

My intended use primarily involves internet browsing and occasional work. The key features I'm looking for are a backlit keyboard, a high-quality monitor, and black design.

Have you considered looking at the refurbished scene?

I've been buying Microsoft Surface Pro 4s for my business for a few years now and these days I can pick one up for £250 inc keyboard and pen (in the UK).

Now, I'm not saying the Surface Pro range is for you but if you're not wanting the bleeding edge in terms of spec and performance, you will almost certainly get a great deal somewhere.

Personally, I would stay away from eBay and look at online stores that specialise in B-Grade refurbished items.

if you like to game as well i can suggest the Gigabyte models (in the end they are just manufactured by the OEM Clevo so the might be other brand that offer the same model)
