is this a good 1080p display for the price?

currently looking at Gigabyte's new g24f 2 1080p ips display b ut most of the newegg reviews say it fails in a few months with black lines on the screen that has me worried

thoughts?

 

my big concern is all of the recent negative reviews which mention the back lines on the display

i mean if the reviews are bad meaning people are having bad experises with it it probbably has some issues
