Dual Channel

I have t3600 and it doesn't have code like a1 and a2 on it slots it written like this dimm1 dimm2 dimm3 dimm4 so to get dual channel speed should I install ram in dimm1 and dimm2 or I can install them anywhere to get dual channel speed here is the image of this

I found this on memory.net, maybe it helps:

General DIMM population guideline for Dell Precision T3600 upgrade to consider.

Some may or may not apply.

If mixing memory speeds, all 4 DIMMs run at the lowest DDR3-1333 bus frequency.

Install DIMMs starting furthest from the processor.

Do not install DIMMs if the corresponding processor is not installed.

If only one processor is installed in a two CPU system, only half of the DIMM slots are available.

To maximize performance, balance the total memory capacity between all installed processors.

It is not required, but it is recommended to load the channels similarly if possible.

Edit: here a picture of how I think it belongs (red=a1; yellow=a2)

Both the CPU and motherbord support quad channel. If you want to maximize performance, you need to populate all four slots with DIMMs of equal capacities and the highest speed supported by the CPU.

For dual channel, any 2 slots will work.
