i9-11900KF No Post

8qBIT

Hey guys, i just purchased i9-11900kf for my new server along with prime h510m-e motherboard and Corsair Vengeance 3600Mhz.

Now, problem is it just wont post it turns on fans spin even on the gpu (i am using rx 570 for testing which does work) but speaker wount even buzz i don't know what is going on.

If i remove the memory speaker will start beeping but thats about it.

(Yes i tried other gpus with no luck.)

What else could it be all cables are plugged in i've built 30+ computers never had such an issue.

Thanks for answers!

Does the motherboard support the cpu?

some really low end motherboards arent validated for the top end cpu.

Your motherboard supports the 11900KF on all BIOS versions.

https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-h510m-e/helpdesk_cpu/?model2Name=PRIME-H510M-E

Have you tried the onboard graphics without the GPU?

Tried to see if there were any error lights on this board but sadly there is none. As Naijin suggested try the output on the motherboard and maybe switch round a cable if your rx570 has a different bus incase it is the cable.

Get the cheapest CPU with onboard graphics for that board you can and test it. If it works, the 11900kf is not working. If it doesn't work, the motherboard isn't working. RAM usually isn't much of an issue, just make sure to have tested it with 1 DIMM in every slot and then the other DIMM.

So what i did is i returned it along with motherboard,
Bought 5800x, b550 board and new RAM.

Guess what same thing.

PSU is new i tried 2 others as well also tried 3 GPUS.

I think my server case is cursed idk what else to do.

Have you ever tried a different cable and monitor? The cable is definitely connected to the GPU? Do you have a picture of the back of your case with all cables connected?
