How do i use a mini pcie wifi card in a pc?

I tried 2 wifi cards in my pc, they both got picked up perfectly and drivers are installed. When i try to use wifi, it says that no networks are found. 
does anyone know hoe i fix this?

Yes, I harvested them out of an old laptop.

I only need one, i just had 2 laying around so i tested both and thu both didn’t work

They most likely did not as laptop antennas usually run up to the screen so are a lot of work to remove.

Motherboards with a WiFi M.2 socket need a kit that includes the antennas and cable to mount them to the outside case. eg

they came out of a laptop, we ripped it appart...

Then you definitely need them outside of the case.
