Yeah I don't know what's up with the "CPU die (average)" value, but for some reason it is buggy on some Ryzen chips... I don't think it causes any issues, I don't see the CPU throttling when it happens, so I just ignore it completely. Clearly my CPU didn't actually reach 120°C while running, so I'm not worried.

Hello Im really new to this im from the Philippines can somebody help me figure out if this is a problem or a bug? I dont know why but suddenly the average CPU DIE is on 92.7c :( no overclocking all stock and PBO off bios is Updated also.

That seems like a pretty high temperature for an AIO at just 50W of power consumption. Are you sure that it's mounted properly and that you removed the plastic protective film? How old is that AIO? How does the pump sound like? It could be that you either have air in the pump or a dying pump. If you feel the tubes and you feel quite a big temperature difference, this would indicate a waterflow issue

hi bro first of all thank you for replying yes I am using Noctua NT H1 thermal paste weird thing about it at stress test cinebench r23 my temps dont even exceed 69c it only stays at 68.9c bro it only does this when i play apex and i even locked it at 60fps so that my temps would be really lower 😞

We first gonna want to check the cooler.

  • As said above, have you checked to make sure that the plastic sheet has been removed on the copper bit of the AIO that contacts the CPU
  • Have you properly tightened the AIO to the CPU, applied pressure in the correct screw pattern?
  • Is the AIO working and fans changing speed when CPU heats up? Or fans constantly at lowest speed always regardless if CPU needs more cooling

the cooler is new and made sure the plastic on the bottom was removed and tighten them on a even pattern on all screws I also attached my rpm reading on the hwinfo64 so you maybe you can take a look at it. Its also weird that in the motherboard CPU sensor it doesn't detect that 92.7c

This makes little to no sense, this is more like what it should look like:

I am really at a loss my processor is only 1 week old and I am already having problems. I really don't know why it is showing that 92.7 😞

I think theres something wrong with the CPU as Tdie = Tctl - Tctl_offset and therefore a a 30C difference on die makes zero sense.

you think the processor itself is faulty? should I go for a replacement?

Most likely it's just a faulty reading. I have that a lot on my Ryzen CPU:

Yeah I don't know what's up with the "CPU die (average)" value, but for some reason it is buggy on some Ryzen chips... I don't think it causes any issues, I don't see the CPU throttling when it happens, so I just ignore it completely. Clearly my CPU didn't actually reach 120°C while running, so I'm not worried.
