Lian li Hub connection problem

warmerplace212

Hey, a friend is changing some parts out in his PC and the problems with the lian li hubs got way to much we had to order alot of extra stuff so that the hubs can connect to the MOBO and now we are just waiting for a bracket to mount the new AIO cooler we had to order a usb 2 splitter and an ARGB splitter.

so what i am questioning is if it even going to be able to connect everything together the parts i mean are Lian Li galahad ii trinity with 6xLian Li SL120 infinity and Lian Li strimer V2 they all use different hubs and it is not able to connect them to eachother because they all use different conncections.

Pc specs:

CPU: AMD 5800x

GPU: MSI rtx 3090 suprimx

RAM: vengeance 2x16gb 3200Mhz

MTB: ASUS TUF GAMING X570

PSU: all i know is gigabyte 850watt don´t know what rated

STORAGE: 1TB M.2

FANS: Lian li SL120 infinity

Operating on windows 11

Monitor:odyssey g9 neo + 2x27INCH

i hope your PSU isn't one of these..

i'm using 13 lian li uni fans myself, due to other things in my system i got USB2 splitter from nzxt.. works perfect.

argb splitter cable works fine, just tape it after connecting them since they fall apart realy easy..

well lianli isn't the only company that has several controllers that are same but not same. i use only one of them, but also have one from thermaltake.

i have 13 inf fans.. a control box is a must 😄

if you are going to use PWM splitter too.. only first cable sends signal on speed.. all receive speed control.

so is it actually able to connect every HUB to the MOBO or not bcs i am kind of worried that it will be too much and that 1 of them will not work properly or it will not be able to connect att all

the nxzt hub?. yeah it's working fine for me atleast, i have only 1 port free atm. one is a lian li l connect box, one for front panel one for TT rgb plus premium... sadly i'll have to get another of those since they have same same but different on their controllers too.

yeah.. everyone wishes for that like corsair commander or similar, or the new kit they came out with. but... it's about double price..

depends on your case i mounted inf fan controller in a 2.5" ssd tray.. with doublesided tape. the others on the inside of the front part of my case.. i have a TT AH T600. so it's pleny space behind the cheeks 😄

well yeah it is not about the space it is just about connecting all 3 controllers or atleast how to connect all 3 controllers

use a nzxt hub..  it needs a sata power plug..

in a USB2 connector.. each row is 1 USB2 port on your case.

do you have an external USB hub?.. it works the same way..

argb splitter works fine as the controllers have their own powersource.. and only draw signal from the splitter.

same goes for pwm
