Im building my first pc and these are the parts I chose:

-Ryzen 5 3600

-Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2

-rx 580

-16gb 3200mhz ram

-1tb crucial P3

-peerless assassin

-aerocool falcon V2

-be quiet! System power 10 650w

How good of a build is this?

I actually like this build. Its very well balanced.

Good enough motherboard to put a 5800X3D later.
good upgrade path for GPU with a 650w PSU.
Hinjima Approved 👍

And this is a very solid 1080p machine as is 🙂

Im building my first pc and these are the parts I chose:

-Ryzen 5 3600 - £65

-Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 - £100

-rx 580 - £85

-16gb 3200mhz ram - £45

-1tb crucial P3 - £35

-peerless assassin - £40

-aerocool falcon V2 - £35

-be quiet! System power 10 650w - £60

How good of a build is this?

I'm using this for mostly gaming in games like Minecraft, satisfactory, rainbow 6 siege, apex legends.

The parts are a mix of new and old and the entire pc costs less than £470

What do you plan to use it for?

Is this based on used parts or new? Do you have prices?

It is a decent build for 1080p in everything except for the very latest games, where it is struggling nowadays.

RX 580 is quite power hungry too (at least, at stock settings).

If it was me, I'd swap the QLC P3 for WD's TLC SN570.

Budget? Prices? Country? Use cases? We need more information to decide if this is a good parts list.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc

Thats a great computer with nice upgrade paths for later if wanted. This will play the games you listed quite well at 1080p.

The 580 really is one of the GPU's that held up the best over the years, 6 years old and still kicking ass 🙂

I agree with @Hinjima, you could try to find a 5600 + mobo + ram combo on marketplace or ebay or something for 200 pounds.
