How f*cked am I? It’s for the front panel of my pc, I don’t particularly care about the front panel usb but it kinda sucks now that I can’t use it. What’s the best way to fix it? I just bought the motherboard from a micro center two hours away from me. Is it worth going back?

As long as the pin is just bent and not broken, you should be able to fix it. A pair of tweezers and a steady hand should be able to straighten it out enough to get the cable to seat correctly. I've had to fix at least 3 or 4 of these headers before, and it's not that bad to do (better than fixing CPU/LGA pins at least).

AFAIK this is something that wouldn't necessarily be covered by warranty. It might be worth a shot, call and ask what they'd do, but at least attempt the fix before doing this.

So it’s way more the one pin, the bottom half goes in fine but then the top half dosent go in at all, it’s like Half of the pins

Could you include a photo? A steady hand and a pair of tweezers are still what you need to fix it.

OK, that doesn't look like it's an entire row that's bent, more like just 6 pins (that could be the angle of the photo though, so that number might be slightly off). It's still not great, but it's at least better than bending an entire row.

Personally I'd take the board out at this time and start trying to bend everything into position. It'll make everything a lot easier.

So just use tweezers and stuff? I’m not great at this but I can try

Pretty much, the skinny ones from the iFixIt kit are probably the best (or at least that style of them is). It's not that hard, but it does require a lot of patience and a steady hand. Play some relaxing music or something else to calm your nerves first, then just go at it.
