PC smells like solder and crashes under load.

ThinWatermelon

Whenever my PC (specifically CPU) is under load (Cinebench, Prime95, Gaming) it starts to smell like solder. If I don't turn off the PC myself it will end up crashing. I've inspected the motherboard (even took off the VRM heatsink+pad) but I can't see anything wrong. Pictures of motherboard attached to this post and in this Imgur album.

A little context: I upgraded to a 5800x a couple weeks ago. Everything has been working fine until yesterday. Have been undervolting with Curve Optimizer recently. Yes the PC still crashes with default settings.

That board could barely run a 1700. It's simply not capable of running a 5800x

*for a extended period of time aka a couple months

Also I made a mistake I meant 1700x. The 1700 was the limit. Even then that was pushing it a bit but unless you hammered it hard it would be ok enough.
