Formatting hard disk on Windows 7 instalation

Hello, can someone please help me step by step. I'll buy new computer and new HDD of 1 TB and I want to partition it when I insatlling Windows ( 7 Ultimate ). It should be like 150 GB on one patition and 850 GB on the other one.

If you mean to install windows on it, one of the first steps is disk management...

Yes I would like to install Windows on it. But in that case wouldn't there be some data corruption? (like one part of files on one partion and second part on other).

Since it is a new hdd it will say unacollated, just click on it so it is selected and windows will auto partition it.
