global / uk PSU market

After upgrading my GPU I've realised that my current CPU and ram is massively bottlenecking it so I'm looking at upgrading.

looking at psu options ive noticed that the options for them in the uk have massively decreased and most have a much higher cost.  I currently have a corsair cx550f which is a good psu, just not enough watts if i want to upgrade; does anybody know why this psu  line has been discontinued.

The Corsair CX range is still in production but it might not be availible in the UK.  Do you have a set budget for a PSU?

You're not kidding, a decent PSU under £100 seems to not exist right now, the closest seems to be the RM750e.

Personally though I'd go for the RMx range as they have better capacitors and a 10 year guarantee vs 7 of the RMe.
