Incredibly low upload speeds vs extremely fast download speeds.

anyone know a fix for incredibly low upload speeds?
My MOB (aorus x570 elite WiFi) has the Intel® Ethernet Controller I211. My download speeds are Btwn 800-100 but my upload is like 20 at best. However if I connect via WiFi they both hover around 300. I would prefer to stay connect via Ethernet as all my other devices are on WiFi with the exception of my ps 5 which has the same issue. I appreciate any and all help.

If you have two wired devices that both have the same issue, the problem is with your router’s Ethernet ports. You can try to flash firmware, return for a replacement, or just replace the current router.

Its the problem between devices, or out to the internet?  I ask because most connections in the US are asymmetric.  Meaning you get faster download speeds than upload.  Also Comcast and others are really bad about saying "up to" a speed, meaning you can get a lot slower.  So like 120mbs up and 60mbs down is common....but if all your neighbors are on the same loop you are on...then you share upload and download bandwidth.  Its also why most connections get faster like at 2am.

It’s strictly an internet issues and I the those that are hooked up vie Ethernet, 2 pcs and a ps5. I have Verizon gigabit connection and I am using their router. I have a replacement coming from them tomorrow hoping that helps but if it doesn’t then I’m at a loss. Was even considering getting a new network cards for both pcs to see if that has any impact.

How would I go about flashing the firmware?

if your router came from the ISP, they usually have it setup to auto-download-update and apply it on whatever basis, maybe if you restart router it will apply any available updates thats downloaded.

otherwise, win+r, cmd, ipconfig, look for the active network adapter's default gateway, open that link in browser, usually "http://192.168.0.1" or something similar. you'll usually have to log into router with password either on the router body or in the manual or online manual. and once you're in, finding where to update shouldn't be too hard.
