Help with my new build

Budget (including currency): 3000 usd

Country: Pennsylvania

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming/Streaming

Other details: (I will put all the information below):

Hello people! how are you? I hope that very good. I need help with my new build! I have chosen these parts that I think are quite interesting and that they work very well, but it is always good to see different opinions, anyway, this is my build! what do you think? what would they change and why?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8rf7k9

I had read that the cooler that I chose (noctua) is possible to collide with the ram, and for that I have to raise one of the fans a bit and it would be perfect, what do you guys think? what should i change? or like this is a perfect build? I thank you in advance for any comments and support, thank you very much n-n

well, we're definitely in the territory of "money is almost no object" (for a pc anyways).

if you do not want to deal with potentially re-adjusting fan, 360mm AIOs (and yes, 13900k likes it better than 240mm) would mitigate that. you should be able to find "ram clearance" figures for the noctua cooler and compare it vs the memory kit you choose.

I would look to a WD HDD rather than seagate by reputation. And make sure its NOT SMR. 2TB also seems weird if you potentially plan to store footages. HDD space is cheap, so yea.

Why 2 SSDs? well i have some ideas why. anyways it just seems weird to have the less performant drive (970 evo plus) being smaller than the 980 pro.

The GPU uses that new-fangled connector, which your PSU don't natively have. I found cheaper, newer, also corsair options with the 12vhpwr connector, so thats due for swap out.

Finally, I see that you picked out quite a few Asus parts, and by wording I'm getting the vibe that this PC need be "interesting", which is somewhat out of my forte as my builds are always cost optimised around some other factor, e.g. size. I'll just note that you can save quite substantial bit of money by... not going with asus. BUT, I don't stream, my PC is for my taste only.

Hello... I have made you a whole new list. If all you are going to be doing is Gaming ans Streaming then I chose to go with AMD. I picked the Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU & Radeon RX 7900XTX 24GB GPU. The CPU is one of the best on the market for Gaming and the 4070Ti you had only had 12GB of VRAM, if you intend to play games like Hogwarts Legacy or any other newer title that uses more VRAM then the 7900XTX is the perfect option, it will allow you to play any game you want at the highest FPS.

This will be a much better option for what you plan on doing with it. I had to remove the ASUS Theme of the PC as it was costing way too much money for the level of performance you were getting from it. I also had to remove the Spinning Hard Drive as no one uses them these days unless you need them for Mass Storage in like a NAS or Back-up drive. They are way too slow to anymore for them to be relevant in a PC today, speeds from the hardware is so fast that the Bottleneck you would see would be really awful.

I have been building PCs for 30 years and I happen to live in PA, Philly to be exact. So if you have any questions please ask and Please DM me for my business email.

I wouldn't consider running an unlocked 13 gen i9 with an air cooler. With that budget you can run a gaming pc and a seperate PC for streaming thus not gimping your frame rate.

Heres a list with better value and a 4090 with 400 to spare
You could also go to a microcenter nearby and get the 7950x bundle

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Swaps:

You were way overspending on the mobo and case. I dropped to a cheaper Z790M mobo and a Fractal Design torrent, both products that perform very well relative to the price.

I saw that you had a wifi motherboard, but wifi motherboards are usually massive rip-offs. I added a wifi adapter that would probably perform better, considering it has an Intel wifi chipset

I overspecced the PSU a bit, because transient spikes can rarely knock your PC down with an 850W unit on full tilt.

Pretty much all your Z790 boards come with built in wifi these days.
