The main difference between the B550M-K and B550M-A is the presence of a VRM heatsink. Unless you're really strapped for cash and only getting an R5 4500, you want to avoid the B550M-K.

As for between the B550M-A and B550M DS3H, there's a couple feature differences, but they're very similar boards. The DS3H has 2 more rear USB ports and BIOS flashback, so it would be my pick between the two, but if you really like ASUS's BIOS, it's $20 cheaper, or something like that I wouldn't blame you for going for the B550M-A.

The B550M-A has a few extra fan headers, rgb ports, and a heatsink over the VRM vs the B550M-K.

The Gigabyte has a different USB layout than the Asus (same number in total):

Gigabyte:

  • 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the back panel (CPU)
  • 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports available through the internal USB header (chipset)
  • 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports (4 ports on the back panel, 2 ports available through the internal USB header)

Asus (both):

  • 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 port(s)(2 x Type-A) (rear)
  • 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 port(s)(4 x Type-A) (rear)
  • 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 port(s)(2 x Type-A) (front)
  • 4 x USB 2.0 port(s)(4 x Type-A) (front)

In short: they should all perform the same. It's more which features you want, their prices for you, and whether you want to deal with Gigabyte or Asus. Personally, I'd go with one of the Asus boards since I like having more USB3 capable ports and the Gigabyte is one of the boards affected by the stupid backdoor thing.
