Which is a better drive for C drive boot drive? 

 

Samsung SSD PM871a 2.5"

 

Or

 

Micron TFDDAV256TBN M.2 1100

They're both SATA so basically equivalent.. You don't have any M2 slot ?

M2 SATA is still SATA

SN810 don't exit I think, you mean SN850? Overkill as it's Gen4 and your laptop won't be able to use it at full speed

Get something like a Crucial P2 or P3
