Is there any chance a MERC card will fit inside a Fractal Define C?

Hello,

I wanted to upgrade the GPU to a MERC, but my case is Fractal Define C: https://www.fractal-design.com/products/cases/define/define-c-tempered-glass/

And it says max GPU length is 315mm with front fan. Now if I remove the front fan, it's around extra 2cm so 335mm~

But the MERC card length is 34cm, for example: https://www.xfxforce.com/shop/xfx-speedster-merc-319-amd-radeon-tm-rx-6950-xt-black#2

Now sometimes those dimensions are not accurate, so maybe someone here had an experience with a similar setup?

Thanks

It won't fit

I would get this 6950 xt that should fit with the front fan mounted and if it doesn't then just remove the front fan PowerColor Red Devil OC Radeon RX 6950 XT 16 GB Video Card (AXRX 6950XT 16GBD6-3DHE/OC) - PCPartPicker

Mark the solution as solution

Take my advice with a grain of salt. Not too much tho, we don’t want ourselves getting dehydrated do we?

thanks. They are generally more expensive but I will maybe wait for a sale then

Also, in general, which is better? The XFX MERC or the Red Devil? I just really like the look of the MERC

They both perform around the same. The XFX does look better but they perform the same. I would say that the red devil isn't that bad and you can go for it anytime and I personally quite like the look of the red devil but that's your preference.
