cpu upgrade (for my buddy not me)

600w (will be upgradet to 700w or more)

2k ( 1440p) 144hz

 

which cpu would be the best to upgrade to all these components

see if whatever B550 he has has support for the 5800X3D, and try to find one available.

Probably a 5600 or 5800X3D if you really want it to perform really good
