Which would be better to use the Diplay Port 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 on my Gigabyte G24F2

This monitor is 1080p 165Hz base and has an OC mode for 180Hz, but it only seems to work with the HDMI ports. The OC mode has the possability to create Artifact, but I have not seen any yet and it has been 6 months since I got it.

1080p 165 Hz requires a bandwidth of 9.26 Gbps, going up to 180 Hz increases that to a 10.18 Gbps requirement

DisplayPort 1.2 has 17.28 Gbps, while HDMI 2.0 has 14.40 Gbps. So both are fast enough.

There should be zero difference in visual quality, since both are digital. So it really doesn't matter. Use whatever your monitor supports/what good quality cable you have around. If overclocking only works on HDMI, then obviously that's what you'd use (if going from 165 Hz to 180 Hz feels worthwhile to you).
