Adding another HDD and then something weird happened

Go to solution Solved by BushDidLewinsky,

What is your motherboard?
I know on ASUS motherboards Code 00 means there is a problem with the cpu. I would try resetting the BIOS with by either jumping the pins or pressing the button (depending on the motherboard). If that doesn't work take the CMOS battery out for a few minutes - put it back in and try again.

I did these things:

-Turned off PC

-Unplugged all the things

-Cleaned PC

-Put in new HDD

-Plugged in appropriate cords (I think) in appropriate places (I’m pretty sure)

-Put everything back together

-Turned on PC

-Was able to get to desktop and open a browser

THEN!!

-PC turned off and motherboard displays 00

Now I am lost.

Get a marker, and add a 7 on the end.

If that didn't solve your issue, check the manual, and look up what that code means. Because with all the details listed, it's hard to just guess what that means.

Update:

I have reseated my CPU, GPU, and cleared my BIOS. The only thing I think I can do is remove my CMOS battery and then put it back in.

Also, my CPU looked fine and I didn’t see any bent pins.
