Thunderbolt 2 PCIe Card for Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2 Motherboard

Hey all, I have recently purchased a thunderbolt 2 Black Magic intensity shuttle (accidentally, intended to purchase a USB 3.0 one but rushed and didn't check ;-;) and was wondering about recommendations people would have with connecting it up to my motherboard. I have done some searching around and it seems like there aren't many thunderbolt 2 cards, but there is a recent one using the newer thunderbolt from gigabyte with Mini DP ports but I am assuming those would not work for my case and my best bet would be to use that card along with a thunderbolt 2 to thunderbolt 3 adapter similar to the Apple manufactured one. I considered trying to use that to enter one of my USB 3.0 ports with another adapter but I am concerned about the amount of potential for failure along the way.

If anyone has had experience with this or a similar situation it would be greatly appreciated if you could help out!

That won't work, has to actually be a Thunderbolt 3-capable USB-C port, which isn't common on desktops.
