And are you sure Pure Power 12 M is not on the list?

I can't seem to find it personally but that might just be my small brain doing small brain things 🙂 . But yeah, the straight power should be better, especially the platinum version (apperantly they make a gold version of this PSU too)

Check out this Pure Power 12 review on Guru3d, https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/bequiet_pure_power_12_m_850w_atx30_psu_review,6.html

I find Be Quiet! Be quiet Straight Power 11 and Pure Power 12 M of 850W at the same price. As stated on Be Quiet! official site (see pics below), the Straight Power 11 is a more premium category, has a bigger and quieter fan, while the Pure Power 12 M is a more recent model with support for ATX 3.0 and PCIE 5.0. I know that these features are not very important at the moment, but I want my build to last over time. These characteristics of Pure Power 12 M will be necessary in the future and will be needed to upgrade again my PSU in 3-4 years ?

Which of the two models do you recommend?
The pc specs for the build I will make are:
CPU: I5-13400
MOBO: MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI
RAM: 16GB DDR5
GPU: RTX 4060 (when released)

This hardware combo is weird, why the Z690 for a 13400 and the DDR5?

Quite a bit of wasted money for such a small to nothing gain.

Straight Power 11 is the better unit according to the community tier list, but it's a multi-rail only.

So very high power draw GPUs might trip the OCP feature more due to it being a multi-rail.

Both of these units are good. Straightpower is slightly better and uses better parts from what I can find.

Both units are multirail only, @Dukesilver27-the Pure Power 12 isn't on the community's tierlist, as it is past EOL.

However, there is a compelling reason to go with the Pure Power 12 unit, and thats the ATX 3.0 12VHPWR connector. That connector will most likely also be used on Nvidia's 4060 card.

Do you mean that for this combination it is better to use a better processor for overclocking? like a 13600K or 13700K ?

or for my current choice processor (i5-13400), to use low-end parts ? such as B660/760 mobo and DDR4 ram ?

Where can i find this Tier List ?

So for the RTX 4060, and for future graphics cards with PCIE 5.0,  the Pure Power 12M it is a better choice ?

I meant Z690 is for overcloking a CPU, 13400 is not overclock-able, but in general latest intel CPUs are terrible for overclocking since do it automatically already. Only 13900K/12900K that is worth overclocking.

DDR5 does give a bit more performance boost, but for such a 13400, the difference is smaller than others, so DDR4 is better.

And here is the PSU tier list.

Thank you. As I see, the pure power 12 M is not on the list of ATX 3.0 compatible, and probably, this is because it has not yet received the certification from Cybenetics. From reviews, everything is positive, and there is a reference to the quietness of the PSU. Thermaltake ToughPower GF3 750W and Corsair RM750x Shift are also quite good options for ATX 3.0 PSU. Βoth have passed all the tests as Aris (hardware busters) mentions in his review. Now I'm in a dilemma, and I don't know which one to choose... 😛
