NeoBlade9669

I m currently using an i5 11400f cpu and rtx 2080 super. So what should i upgrade. i have 2 options currently:- 1st-Upgrade to i7 11700f and get a rtx 3070. 2nd- only get a rtx 3080. My budget is a little tight currently i can afford only one of the above two options. please someone clarify what should i do.

3080 all the way. 6 cores is still enough for most gaming tasks, so the extra 2 cores of the 11700F won't be doing a whole lot. Plus given the pricing of 11th gen CPUs on the used market (at least from what I've seen) it's likely the cheaper option.
