Is 2x PCI-E cables fine for the 3x PCI-E 8pin adapter to run a RTX 4090?

Actual_Criminal

I am using 2x PCI-E cables to power the GPU. One of the cables has 2x PCI-E 8pins (6+2).

This should be fine right?

Yes. That is fine 🙂  High quality PSU's use proper quality daisy chain / pig tail cables.   Yours look like corsair?
Here is a video of my 4080 with Corsair Daisy Chains. I am currently running a 220mhz OC ( 3.06ghz ) on core and 1700mhz OC on memory, no crashes and pulling max power without issues.  I also ran my 2080 Super that I overclocked on one daisy chain cable too.  No issues.

Not ideal, but should be fine. I ran pigtails on my 6800XT for a long time.

It's not ideal, and I wouldn't recommend running a balls-to-the-walls overclock while doing 24/7 workloads on it, but it should be fine.
