Acer Predator XB323QU NV Freesync support?

Hello

 

I have the "Acer Predator XB323QU NV" monitor currently and using it with G-sync.

Nvidia control panel says that this display isn't officially supported by G-sync, but it seems to work fine.

I'm considering to buy a Radeon 7900 XTX though, and I'm wondering if that monitor will work with freesync?

 

There is almost none information online regarding this monitor, and what information I do find, seems to be contradicting with some saying it does have Freesync and others saying it doesn't.

Is there a way to check if it will work with freesync in the system or something?

I unfortunately don't have any Radeon GPU's (or anyone to borrow 1 from) to test it out physically.

it has adaptive-sync technology and Gsync so it will work with AMD and Nvidia cards.

Well that's the thing, it says it doesn't have G-sync.

Nvidia control panel says "This monitor isn't compatible with G-sync Compatible" and yet it works.

I have contacted Acer previously about this monitor, and Acer themselves said it does not support Freesync.

Yet every single article on the internet that I find about it, says that it does support Freesync so I'm confused about it at this point.

Monitor without G-sync module and not test by Nvidia will not label and not detect as G-sync compatible, but normally it is working. 

 

I believe all recent monitor is support Freesync. The Acer representative normally is based on provided information, since this model did not mentioned it and they will normally said not support, remember most CS is not tech staff.

I'd hate to buy the XTX and find out it's not working with freesync...

Normally it is support but no one can 100% assure to you as it is not documented as mentioned in below article.

Alright, thanks for your help.

Worst case scenario I can buy the XTX and then return it within the 30 days if I'm not happy as my shop offers a 30 day return if not satisfied.
