Apple Id and Apps

My dad has minecraft on his apple id and i dont want to pay for it again, is it possible that i just sign on with this account install mc, and then sign on with my regular account? If it is, how does updates work on mc since i dont own it on my account.

You could try, but I don't think it will work if you sign out of your dads account.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?
