Trying to stay with the Nvidia as i have Amd and although it is now old it always had issues as to friends with NVIDEA never had issues

the 6000 series of radeon cards have much improvced over the years so i wouldn't be too hesitant, but if your doing streaming or just like nvidia more the 3060 ti is still a good card (not the 3060 tho)

Budget (including currency): $450

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Game League of Legends, tiny tinas wonderland, 7 days. Unreal Engine 5.1.1, Blender

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Currently im running

Motherboard: MSI MAG X570S Tomahawk WiFi Motherboard (AMD AM4, DDR4, PCIe 4.0, SATA 6Gb/s, M.2, USB 3.2 Gen 2, AC Wi-Fi 6, HDMI, ATX)

Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 Full Modular, 850W, 80+ Gold Efficiency, 2 EPS Connectors, 120mm HDB Fan, Semi-fanless Operation

Ram: 32gb ram (something)

GPU: r9 200x [Slowly dieing]

Im thinking this :

MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12G GeForce RTX 3060 12GB 12 GB Video Card 🔗

Or

MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 3060 Ti LHR 8 GB Video Card 🔗

OR Something else the community thinks is better. As you can see its been awhile since i upgraded.

Trying to stay MSI as peace of mind of it connecting to a MSI motherboard. I know it doesn't really matter but still.

if you REALLY want to go with nvidia then get the new 3060 ti but if your willing to go amd then check out the rx 6800 where in some places it can be had for only 430 bucks and is battles with the 3070 ti in some games

Mark the solution as solution

Take my advice with a grain of salt.

As a great AI once said (fictional): '"Whenever your futurists envision the advent of artificial intelligence, their predictions invariably end with humanity attempting to destroy its unholy AI creation before it can destroy them. Why do you think that is?"'

And a distrusting human replies '"Because the ungrateful AI always seems to decide that humans are inferior and need to be eliminated'"

This isn't the right mindset we should welcome AI, not attack them

This is either a huge mistake or intentional

I wouldnt agreed with you on it as adrenalin have far matured post 2019-20, but the fact to the matter is blender and its nvidia-exclusive Optix is such an insane killer feature, and it doesnt help that they are practically abandoning the still-young implementation of OpenCL.

But 3060Ti at its price range brand new is also insanely absurd. You can get a 3070 or 3070Ti at that price on used market which would rock it in price to performance. Used 2080Ti also at that similar price with same performance, but worse power consumption.
