GPU score and FPS are down in 3D Mark after switching from Ryzen 5 5600x to 7 7700x

Thanks for the suggestions. I did decide though to try updating motherboard BIOS before checking out old chipset drivers and etc, and looks like it was it. My motherboard was having the very first version of BIOS, which is F1, and the latest version right now is F4. Updating to it changed the score to this: https://imgur.com/a/z3Ft5w4

So I've been upgrading my PC lately. I've aquired a Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce Xtreme 4080, and installed it into this setup:

- MSI X570-A Pro

- Ryzen 5 5600x

- 32 gb of HyperX 3200 Ram

- Chieftec Proton BDF-650C 650W

I've run it through 3D Mark in SteamSpy default benchmark, and got this score:

After that I've decided to future proof my build and switch to AM5 socket. I've aquired and built this in the same case:

- Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX

- Ryzen 7 7700X

- 32 gb of Kingston FURY 6000

- be quiet! Straight Power 11 850W

This setup got this score:

So while overall the score is higher, the Graphics score actually got lower, and FPS's in these tests decreased by 10. Both times GPU was OC'd by MSI afterburner with same settings from automatic OC: https://imgur.com/a/Qx90xcn
I did not change anything about GPU setup in the case at all. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Is memory set to correct speeds? Cud be this

You mean RAM? I've enabled EXPO 2 in BIOS, since the system won't start with EXPO 1.

Did you reinstall windows?

I did upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 in the proccess before changing the socket due to software issues. The results of the first build were on Windows 10.

If you've upgraded from 10 to 11 without installing fresh it could have the same chipset drivers.

So not a fresh install this can easily cause the issues you are experiencing.
