Help with 144Hz 1440p build ( I am a noobie )

Budget (including currency): 1500$ CAD or a bit over if needed.

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Gaming in games like Apex Legends, Street Fighter 6, League Of Legends, Tekken 8, DNF Duel,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 1440p,144Hz

I am currently working with an AMD FX 8350 and a Gigabyte RX 480 ... I am guessing these things are dinosaurs and are horrible compared to what exists in the market today considering these items are 10+ years old lol ... my current computer sounds like I have a jet engine in my house ... so whatever I can do to make it AS QUIET as possible please let me know or include it in the build ... as I really like peace in my old fougie age and im tired of hearing the rocket engine ...

I asked in PC builder and I did recieve a build which I will put here ... I would like to know if this build would do 144hz 1440p gaming for these games without having major FPS dips for the most part

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/Pp7qtn

This was the list I was given by a responder to my thread. Tho he could not answer how well it should or should not do in 144hz 1440p gameplay. So I am hoping that here would be a better place to see what you guys think.

Let me know what you guys think and if you can create anything better let me know ... BTW I prefer a white build if possible but it seems thats more expensive lol. But at only 1300$ he did leave some wiggle room in this build ... so let me know

Is this build good for 144HZ 1440P gaming in those games ? are there some upgrades you could make with the wiggle room thats left to say the graphics card or cpu or something that would help in this regard ? or is what he suggested pretty much the best bang for my buck ? thanks for your help guys.

You are getting scammed on the rgb ram, you can find cheaper options and even cheaper than that with no rgb. Get the ak620 white instead of the 400. Not needed performance, but it will help upgradability

With what you're trying to do... Go for better CPU and more storage. You can always add more RAM later, if necessary, too.

+1 on this one, OP's price range is in kind of a no mans land where the other better GPU on the range would be a 6750XT... which is just an overpriced 6700XT overclock job. If OP dont mind blowing past 5% overbudget, they can get RX 6800 XT based build.

Tried to go for a more balanced build so 12600k + used 6800 red devil

Heres the used 6800 red devil

Also managed to fit a 2tb gen4 ssd cause it wasnt that much more over a decent gen3, a better cooler, and 32gb of ram

12600k cause you can run the thing at like 5.1-5.3ghz allcore rather than being locked to a pitifull 4.5ghz on a 13500

personally if you have a 1000 usd budget I will never priotitze looks always performance. Here is a build that offers more performance but trading of rgb and looks:  https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MntX8r

your parts are in the american version not canadian but ill look to see if i can find them parts it looked solid build. for 1000$ dunno what that is in CAD tho .. also from the graphics card I see on my end they are like 900$ im guessing thats way overpriced for that card.

Thank you and George M Kane that is definitely a nice build especially with the 16 GB graphics card its a tiny bit over budget but nothing I cannot handle. Thank you for the build idea. CPU seems weaker than SomeRandomTechBoy's suggestion of the 12600k ? or can you basically overclock both cpus pretty close ? Note I have never OC anything before so that would be a new one for me.

a 1000 usd is 1500cad. An rx6800 for 640 cad is a really good deal in my opinion of course.
