4ce_Games

Budget (including currency): /

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mass Data storage usable by both mac and windows

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): /

As the name says, I have an older pc that I am wanting to add storage too and use as a DAS. I am going to be using it for music and video projects and want it to be accessible by both mac and windows. Does anyone know how I would do this?

Do you mean a Network Attached Storage device?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

No I mean a DAS, Direct Attached Storage device. I will be doing lots of big music projects and don't want to have any issues with a wireless connection.

NAS are not necessarily wireless. In fact most use wired network connections.

I'm not sure how an older PC figures into a DAS.
