How to Deal With "Trusted Platform Module Has Malfuctioned"

Here's how this thing happened: I forgot the origin password of the desktop that I'm using in the lab, as well as the answers to safety questions, and I changed the password in terminal with command:

net user [<UserName> {<Password> | *}

And then I found that all accounts linked on Microsoft 365 were logged off. I tried to logged in Microsoft 365 on OneDrive and Outlook but I could not log in with my university account. The PIN for unlock the desktop was also failed. The error is shown in the fig, which says Trust Platform Module has malfunctioned and the error code is 80090016.

I googled the solutions and I tried some of them, like deleted the files in NGC folder, but it  only worked on resetting the PIN. I really need my university OneDrive on this PC because I storage most of the research resources on it so that I can work from home.

I want to know if there are other reliable solutions, and I also want to ask if it can solve the problem by completely resetting the desktop.

You say you are using the laptop in the lab of a university? Ask the uni's tech support for help.

You tried to manually alter the password and now the password & PIN do not match the records held in the TPM.

Other than that it seems a little suspect that someone using a lab PC would forget the login details and all the security questions, possible after a break of many months maybe, why did you not inform the labs IT department that you had forgotten your login?.

Server message: Keyset does not exist

At this point you will have to reinstall Windows.

When you ran the command:

It erased the TPM keyset of your computer.

That's TPM for you....

I run Windows with TPM disabled in BIOS exactly because of BS like this.

Ok I make it more clear: The desktop/workstation belongs to our lab so it is not a university property. I inherited it from a former student in our lab, so I didn't set up the password or the safety question answers, and I only used PIN to unlock. I contacted university IT but they didn't solve the problem. I don't have to lie on this since I still need this machine to work.
