$269 for 1660 is just horrible, you could get 6650 XT for a bit less than that while being miles faster.

R5 5500 is really too bare bones, get 5600 at least.

500GB SSD would run out of space very quickly, OS and programs alone could take up to 100GB. For less than $10 more you could get a 1TB SSD.

When the case is more expensive than the CPU, you know you messed up.

Thats OP's build, Duke.

I wouldve gone for RX 6800XT if not for the fact that it would be a pretty harsh overbudget. You could sell the things thats left unused here and get that.

Budget (including currency): 1200$

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I was thinking either starting from scratch and build a mini-itx build, or upgrade from my current. I play 1080p, and this is my current setup: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/gevaboomboom/saved/#view=Kt8h7P . I primarily play genshin, valorant, Fortnite, and occasionally some medium settings AAA games.

I try to be a human, but I cannot, because I have returned to monke.
