micro freeze when my fps drop

AlHouine

Hello everyone, I finally decided to come and ask for help after a long time with my problem.

Motherboard: ASUS X570-F
Cpu: 3700x
Gpu: Evga rtx 2070 xc ultra
Ram: 2x8Gb 3600Mhz Trident Z Neo
Nvme samsung 970 evo 250Gb
Ssd samsung 860 evo 1To
Ssd wd blue 500Go

I've been experiencing small fps losses that cause stuttering on my games.
For example, on League of legends, I have my fps at 100 (automatic with g sync activated) and as soon as I go to 99/98, hop stuttering / sometimes my fps fall to 95 and hop stuttering.
I have this problem on all my games and this for a long time

As soon as there is a loss of fps, even minimal, I have a micro freeze/stuttering.

No worries about temperature, 40 in idle and 65 in game

Here's what I've already tried:

  • Bios update (factory bios, I just activated the docp)
  • DDU of the graphics drivers
  • update chipset / drivers
  • update Windows
  • Disable g-sync
  • Disable dvr / game bar
  • I bought a mixer audio (I think it shuts down the sound card on the motherboard) to see if the sound card on the motherboard could cause any problems
  • Fullscreen/shutter no change
  • Clean install of windows
  • 6 hours test on the ram (memtest)
  • I tried to erase the cached ram regularly
  • Changed screen which did not solve the problem
  • Same problem at 60 fps, drops to 58 + micro freeze
  • Uninstalling msi afterburner, no change
  • Changed the power profile of windows, still the problem
  • I tried to put my mouse in wired mode to see if the cause could be the bluetooh of the mouse, but the problem is still there
  • High performance in the nvidia config panel

I would like to point out that my sound doesn't skip during stuttering and I don't have any mouse freeze.

Changing bios settings is not a bios update. What is your Bios version (CPU-Z, motherboards tab)?

If your bios is old or quite old, you should flash the latest version.

Chipset drivers from AMD or Asus? Use those from AMD, they are much newer and improved.

Try disabling Multiplane Overlay MPO and the Ultra Low Power State.

Sorry, I may have explained myself a bit poorly.
My bios settings are stock, I haven't touched anything on the values, I just activated the dcop.

Otherwise the bios is updated regularly to see if the problem disappears. I am currently on build 4408.
I have updated the bios several times and the problem has never gone away.

The chipset is that of amd, directly on the website and it is up to date.

Before I disable anything, could you tell me what its settings do? And could you tell me where I can change this please?

Thank you for your help.
