Does updating AMD drivers cause bad performance on a graphics card?

Sometimes bad drivers get released, sometimes only some models got worse. Most of the time tho, drivers improves performance. 

What you can do is to roll back to the previous drivers.

Turns out when I updated it, it sucks now like fps drops everywhere. I need a help for this problem.

what is your card? what are your current drivers. updating should not decrease performance

Driver updates usually fix or improve performance.

use ddu, ive always had to do that with amd, only way from my experience to make it work well

Dont forget to mark as solution if your question is answered

Note: My advice is amateur help/beginner troubleshooting, someone else can probably troubleshoot way better than me.

Right Click on Start->Device Manager->Display adapters->GPU Model->Driver->Roll Back Driver

 

To be clear, both Nvidia and AMD have a lot of bad drivers, it's not exclusive to AMD, but most of the time AMD is worse since their team are much smaller than Nvidia's.
