Plex random crashes on Samsung TV

I am visiting my mom this weekend and while watching a show in the Plex it lagged with the loading circle then said playback error and the app then crashed.

Apparently this has happened before but she never told me before, she didn't wanna bother me with it. The crashes seem to be random and happen on an assortment of shows.

Her TV is connected via cable not wifi and all the settings on the app and my server are as everyone says it should be with secure connections set to always and whatnot.

What could be causing this issue? I'm currently running the most recent version of Plex but as I said this had happened before on various versions of the app.

My server is on truNAS and it stays updated so I'm not sure what the problem could be or what's causing thos as it's very random.

Is this the Tizen version running on the integrated smart TV version or something else entirely? Would be a good to know for others.

It's the app installed on the smart TV from the TV app area. Not sure any other way to get an app lol

That app on my Samsung TV has been a problem for me since I got it 4 years ago. My solution was to pickup a nvidia shield. I was never able to get the app working correctly after messing with it for a while.

I'm on a Samsung S95B. It runs Tizen 6.5 I believe.

I've so far only had one crash in 4 months, but the more common one I get is an audio sync issue. If i close the Plex app and restart it, then it comes right and is fine.

Doesn't do it on any others of my home devices (Samsung RU7100 75", My PC with Windows Plex App, Android mobile Plex App, etc...)

I'd say report it in Plex Forums but I rarely get traction on my reports.
