Youtube lag/dropped frames when i play games

Hello,

I am currently having issues with youtube and playing games at the same time.

I like to have youtube on one of my other monitors while i play, but recently while my game plays fine the youtube video lags and drops frames when im in the game.

Turning off hardware acceleration on brave seems to fix it, but i am wondering if there is a way i can fix it without turning that off? since having that disabled breaks a bunch of other websites or makes other websites slow / laggy.

Thank You 🙂

What are your system specs?

Youtube can potentially use up alot of cpu or gpu depending on the situation and if your pc cant keep up with both then you get performance drops.

That hardware shouldnt have issues with this. Make sure there isnt anything else running in the background using up resources.
