Car stereo question about antenna

Soo I recently bought a fm antenna for my shed stereo. My shed is 12v so I have a car stereo in there. The antenna I bought is coax out but my stereo accepts a weird looking input. Is there a converter that someone is aware of?

Yeah, radial antenna connectors go back a long time. Amazon carries adapters for these from all kinds of connections, just search "Coax to Car Stereo antenna adapter" and you should come up with more than a few.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

Car parts stores used to just stock car antennas, something like this? Might be easier to just go pick up a random car antenna kit and plug it in, rather than adapter something? Just another idea.

as said, the adapters can be found on amazon, but if you want it done today, an autozone/advance auto, or walmart in the stereo sections should have what you need.

I already have an antenna inside the shed and it's not really getting all the station so I bought a really good outdoor one and going to mount it on the same pole as my tv antennA.

Make sure that pole and your shed are well grounded against lightning strike. If you're looking for stations and they're all in a particular direction I'd suggest making or buying a more directional antenna, you'll get much much better reception and likely even be able to grab digital radio signals.

Can't find anything on the canadian website 😞

you "could" splice and solder the 2 set ups. all it is is a 2 wire line.

I can buy it from the US Amazon but I think I'm going to pass, I have rg6 cable and I would probably need another adapter to go from my rg6 cable connection to this connecter.
