What is this used for when swaped down on iPhone?

Not really clear what you're asking. What does the "this" in your topic title refer to? What does "swaped down" mean?

Your "PC master race" thing is cringe.

Correct, it's a reach feature, helps you get to things at the top of your screen while using your phone one handed. Brilliant feature actually, miss my iPhone for that.

"Reachability" is what it's called IIRC, swiping down on the home bar slides the screen down.

It's to make the phones easier to use one-handed due to the height of the screens. Doesn't work perfectly on my 13 PM as it's still wide af so reaching over the screen while securely holding it is a bit iffy, but I imagine it's great on the smaller phones.

100% agree, with my brother in law's pro max, it's useless imo. for my 12 mini, it's perfect. one thing about it is i feel like it almost encourages using your phone while driving lol.

Ye that what I first thought. But for example, on my older Huawei phone, ehen you swipe you get smaller screen for one hand use. But here it goes down, and when I swipe for example for control center it just backs yo normal size, and I found it useless because if I do that to reach to something and you again give me there hard to click. I mean it is good for maybe apps in top. But I just asked this because I was wondering what is it really made for, I have 12 Pro so it is not big, and also I have bigger hands so I hsve no problem with that...
