Recently I got a free iPad 5th gen WIFI from my office, but unfortunately it is stuck on the hello screen with no hope of actually using it. I already know about the way to use a DCSD Alex cable but I dont have the money and was wondering if there was a way to do it with just a thunderbolt cable.

 

Thanks in advance guys, a simple or youtube tutorial is much appreciated. I was going to use the iPad for my stream chats.
