PCIE Soundcard stops working when I installed a 2.5gbe pcie card.

My sound was working great until I installed a 2.5gbe pcie adaptor card.

OS: Windows 11 Pro

Motherboard: Gigabyte x570 aorus elite

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT 8-Core Processor

Sound Card: Sound blaster x ae-5

GPU: 2080ti

NVME SSD

Tryed different slots for the sound card with and without 2.5 gbe card, tried new drivers for sound card and 2.5 gbe card.

Does the Motherboard share some PCIE slots? so can't use them all?
Do any Bios changes need to be made??

Thinking of formatting my OS

Have you tried disabling onboard audio? Have you checked that the default audio device is still your sound card? Your board should have plenty of lanes, so we can rule that one out.

Has your sound card a supplementary power cable? Maybe it came loose when you installed the ethernet card?

Can you set IRQs for the cards in the BIOS setup? I doubt but I always ask anyway.

Go on and disable any things you're not using that might be on by default like the serial port (COM1)

not sure waht IRQ's are even googled it and don't unstand it.
I disable all processes and startup process to only what i use.
