Where should I place my GPU radiator?

DevGryphon
Go to solution Solved by Alinz,

than mount the gpu aio either on the bottom or on the side (that would be my preference) with the tube outlet comming from the bottom to ensure your pump doesnt run dry.

Hello, I just got the ROG Strix Radeon RX 6900 XT (the one that's liquid cooled) and was wondering where I should put the radiator for it in my case. My case is the Lian Li O11 Dynamic and I have places for fans on the bottom and on the right side of the case when viewing it from the front. There's no place for fans on the back of the case. Thank you for any assistance!

Budget (including currency): $0 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA titles

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

if possible place at the top just ensure the rad has its connectors for in and out above the water block on the GPU to avoid any possibility of trapped air on the block.

Hi buddy,

I in my o11, I have my rads at the top and bottom so in yours I would probably have the bottom and side spaces reserved for fans drawing fresh air in, then the rad for the GPU at the top with the fans exhausting.
