Bought a new 3200mhz. will you be able to check if the ram really is 3200mhz on bios?

Go to solution Solved by RONOTHAN##,

Easiest way is to check in CPU-Z when in Windows. Open it up, go to the SPD tab, and cycle through the sticks till you find one that has the part number as the sticks you got, and look at the XMP profile on it. It should say something like "XMP-3200" if it was a 3200MT/s kit, and it wouldn't say that anywhere if it wasn't a 3200MT/s kit.

I have a hyperx Kingston 3200mhz new and will put it on my pc with 2666mhz before so i am not sure if i can see if it can really run at 3200mhz. (I'm not going to overclock it to 3200mhz i just want to know if is 3200mhz)

B365 chipset and i5-9400 both do not support over 2666 MT/s so you can NOT run your 3200 MT/s kit @3200. 2666 is the max.
