i5 12400f or ryzen 5 5600g for rx 5700xt

So i recently got rx 5700 xt and have i5 9500 but the problem is that the games i play (rdr2 csgo and other) kinda have bottleneck frequently gpu will hover under 65% while cpu is at 100% so thats not good. so the options are i5 12400f or ryzen 5600g(since its cheaper in my local stores). other options are also i5 11th and 10th gen which arent much cheaper than 12th gen. r5 is only 25 dollars cheaper than 12400f. so which one and is smart access memory worth going with amd.

also gonna mention i have 2x8gb stick of ram at 2666mhz, i know thats not fast but if thats not much difference in performance i might keep it. so please any advices would be welcome thank you

The 12400F is the fastest, and it does support SAM as well (SAM is just AMD's marketing term for ReBAR, and it does work on Intel as well with the same rough performance increases).

If the price difference is only $25 get the 12400F no question.

How about an used i7 8700 or an i7 9700? Would not require you to change the motherboard with the CPU.
