Flash the latest BIOS and try again. I would have bought the EXPO version of that RAM but for first boot it shouldn't matter.

Hello All,

I just built a new system and not been able to boot into the Bios...

Here the parts list:

Asus X670E-PRO WIFI

Ryzen 7600X with NH-15DS

G.Skill Trident Z5 2 x 16GB DDR5 (F5-6000J3040F16GX2-TZ5K)

Samsung 990 Pro 1TB

ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 OC Edition (removed from system for now, trying onboard graphics)

Fractal Torrent Case

Seasonic Prime TX-1000

The systems turns on, the fan start normal at first, and then spin up fast after a biref moment.

The LED on the board cycle trought Red, White, Yellow.

Long time on white, around 25sec at least, then yellow for 2 sec, and then red probaly a bit more than the yellow one.

I wonder if I bought the wrong RAM, but then it should only be the yellow light on?

I don't have any other DDR5 around and shops are closed for the weekend here now.

Other things I have done:

Check all the cables to the board and PSU

Remove the CPU and re-install

Tried booting with and without the GPU

Re seated the ram

boot with only 1 stick of ram

Check the SSD

Let it sit for at least 10min see what happens...

Edit, tried with no memory, only yellow LED is on and fan stay low.

Thank for your help.

Hey, it worked. Didn't think a first boot would need a BIOS upgrade. You learn every day.

And Yes, I should have bought the EXPO model but I missed that details on all the Trident Z5 models they had on site I bought.

Thanks again for your help.
