Looking to upgrade my GPU, not sure if I need to upgrade my PSU

Spit_Fyre7

So im looking to upgrade my GPU to a 4070ti (I know, the value isnt great but its a card good enough to do what I want at a price that isnt too outlandish for me and doesnt suffer from driver issues) and want to know if I need to bump up my PSU. Currently running a Corsair SF600 80+ Plat PSU.

Heres my current PC specs:
Mobo: Asus TUF B450M-Pro Gaming PLUS
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: x4 8gb G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200mhz
GPU: EVGA RTX 2080 XC Ultra
Storage: x1 PCIe 1TB NVME SSD (Inland Premium) x2 Crucial SATA SSD (x1 1TB x1 500gb)
Cooler: Cooler Master ML240L (Replaced RGB fans with ones listed below)
Fans: x8 Arctic P12 120mm
Various things plugged into USB ports if that makes any difference can list if it does
PC Part Picker list with all parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jMY3Dq

From what Im seeing the 4070ti should work, but Id be looking at an 80watt headroom if everything is pinned at max draw.
Only really asking since SFX PSUs are a bit of a pain to find at my local Microcenter.

I had the same dilemma but at the end of the day and when it came to counting the prices and what I could and couldn't buy going from a 2080, the 4070ti was the only option.

It's going to work with your 600w PSU since your processor is a 65w. But I probably woudn't do that myself. I would probably not settle for anything below 750w for this. a more capable PSU could be a lot more efficient for you as well.

both cards, your old 2080 and new 4070Ti have similar power draw. Current PSU shouldn't be a problem but personally I like to keep some headroom and not run PSU at 80%+ loads so if you can then maybe swap for something 750w/800w-ish otherwise I'm sure it'd run fine

yeah , you should be good, the high transient spikes are not as high with the 4070ti

If starting from scratch, a 750 would be better, but I don't think you will have a problem.

Like you say, quality SFX power supplies are few and far bt.

Corsair makes a 750 SFX but it is out of stock

This is a seasonic rebrand that is in stock if you want to do the replace while you are installing the card

1440 Ultrawide (3440x1440p) is the plan. I have a second 1920x1080 display I use only for things like music, discord, and twitch chat whenever I end up streaming
