Good RS323 Serial USB Recommendations?

Hey all, in absence of GPU's on some of my Xeon workstations I wanted to get a serial interface for my laptop. Heard good things from Reddit about this trendnet one and this more expensive (overkill looking) Tripp Lite one but otherwise don't really have any good recommendations nor understandings of the upsides/downsides to any particular interface.

Any recc's? Laptop (client) will either be Windows or Arch (provided the latter plays nice)

My profile picure is real. That's what I look like in real life. I'm actually a blue and white African Wild Dog.

The trendnet one will be fine. No need to get anything more expensive.

This should also be fine : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IDSM6BW/

but some people don't like prolific based adapters because the company messed around with the drivers removing some from their pages, adding checks against fake/clones and accidentally catching legitimate chips in the process as well, making egit adapters no longer working...
