Help on new build plz

Budget (including currency): 4,000/5,000 us

Country: us

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: fps( mw2 etc) rust and apex . Possibly mining but I have Hurd it’s not worth it anymore

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): First time building a pc always bought used rigs or pre build. But wana make  my own. I have an mis gs70 and it’s just no we’re near enough. Been playing console due to that and I’m ready to get back into pc. And things have changed massively. I have no idea where to start. I would like to have a really nice set up that I would not have to upgrade for a while and would also like to do water cooling. But at the same time I don’t wanna really space heater, but I know that I might just have to suck it up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I have plenty of ssd’s and fans but I know that’s just the tip of the iceberg. All of that being said I know that buying a pre built might be more cost effective so I am open to suggestions. If it’s worth it I would buy a pre made but would rather build. Idc if it’s over kill just want something nice I won’t have to upgrade for a while.

I think $4K is way too much, especially since you don't want a space heater.

I spec-ed the PC to for 144+fps in FPS games, and lowest 1% fps possible, while also value oriented but still looks very nice.

And no, buying prebuilds are definitely not more cost effective, mining is certainly over, not profitable anymore.

For the games you are playing I personally wouldn't go much over $1k. Apex, mw2 and rust are not very demanding games. Even if you were planning to play at 4k 240hz or something there would be no need to go anywhere over 1.5k.

I probably forgot about this comment so quote me if you need a response.
