MS Office 2019 ospp.vbs returns no licenses found

Hello,
I recently got a Dirt Cheap Office 2019 Boxed Edition License from my retailer clearance sale which I have added to my Microsoft account. I have downloaded the installer from their website and installed Office 2019 but when I check through CMD it returns the following.

Spoiler

Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.812
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

<No installed product keys detected>

On My Account page inside office apps it shows the proper account and activation status.

So does that mean office linked the app to the license in my account so there is no trace of license in my PC?
Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, you linked it to your Microsoft account, that's how it activates itself. If you just put the key in locally on an installed product then it would show in the command, otherwise it's tied to your MSFT account and will follow that way instead of having to track the key manually.

No you didn’t, professional plus isn’t sold at retail, or boxed. It’s not even offered to consumers.

You bought a gray market key.

Hopefully whoever sold you the sketchy key keeps the volume license in good standing, otherwise you lose access.

Adding to above. Either you did what above says and got grey market key which now doesn't work. Or you picked wrong installer package and your key doesn't work because of that.

Neither. I was using the online installer which automatically links office to a proper license for the PC

Oh, maybe. But for a fraction of the cost I ain't complaining.

But one thing to say the box whatever way it was looked quite genuine and even had the keycard with the key. The retailer I am talking about is not some grey market dealer rather quite a reputable one so gray market keys with them is "rare".
