I wish I didn't need this gaming PC

HC_writes

All is not well in the tech house after downgrading to Intel Arc: there are some missing features that mean Linus and his family are missing out on their theater room! Fortunately, we have the solution: a top-of-the-line PC from MSI… and it has a few trick up its sleeve.

Thanks to MSI for sponsoring this video. Check out the featured products through the links below:

What is the purpose of this bracket? If the SSD is supposed to be "super easy to access", why is it here?

most cases I've seen don't have any access from the back side, so I would consider this easy access cause I don't have to take out the motherboard to install the m2 ssd. I assume that is what they mean by super easy to access

Probably just enough to last the 90day/1yr parts warranty, then poof!

good news, you don't, you even said it yourself "i can't keep it, i have to send it back"

and even if you didn't, you would have just pulled it out immediately after ending the video.

Linus needs to colour his hair windows colours.

HE FAILED one of the challenges.

He used a non-intel arc gpu at home during the challenge.

That was for the Linux challenge - surely this would require an nVidia logo.

Those VRM's. Put some heatsinks on them. They're begging for some cooling. What is up with prebuilts and throwing in the worst possible motherboard they have on hand in.

interesting, what cases are those? & are we talking access to the actual motherboard? or just removing the sidepanel & being able to cable manage etc. I think all my cases can be classified as "mainstream"(Corsair, fractal, coolermaster etc) so could be why I've never seen a bracket like this allowing you to access the backside of the motherboard without taking it out.
